Juan Andrés Ospina – Tramontana

Nadav appears on big band composer & arranger Juan Andrés Ospina’s latest album, Tramontana. The album includes six arrangements of Juan’s originals as well as covers, and features the best of NYC’s jazz musicians, including legend saxophonist and clarinetist Paquito D’Rivera.

The CD release party will take place at Jazz at Lincoln Center – Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola on October 18th. Ticket information coming soon.

Original Soundtrack for new film

Nadav to compose the soundtrack for the upcoming short film ‘Division Ave’, a story inspired by true events about a brave and unexpected friendship between a Mexican cleaning lady and a Hasidic housewife , and their fight against the former’s con employer.

FISHES at Rockwood

Nadav’s co-led trio FISHES returns to Rockwood Music Hall on July 8th to play a live set before heading into the studio next month. The group features Steve Brickman – Keyboards/Synth Bass and Daniel Dor – drums.

Back at Cornelia

Nadav’s quintet returns to NYC’s Cornelia Street Cafe, with a band featuring Steve Brickman (saxophones), Eden Ladin (piano), Ben Tiberio (bass) and Harvel Nakundi (drums).

April 16th, 2017, 10:00pm.
The evening is a double-bill with the Eden Ladin Quartet (8:30pm).

Nadav Remez Quintet at Cornelia Street Cafe

Nadav opens the second night of the Israeli Jazz Fest, Thursday January 19th at 8:00PM. Featuring: Asaf Yuria – saxophones, Glenn Zaleski – piano, Haggai Cohen Milo – bass and Colin Stranahan – drums. The night’s double bill also features Oded Tzur’s quartet at 9:30PM.

Raanana Music Center – concert and masterclass

The Jazz Series at Israel’s Raanana Music Center to present a concert and masterclass by Nadav and his quintet on Wednesday, January 25th. The band features Matan Chapnitzky – saxophones, Eden Ladin – piano, Avri Borochov – bass, Haim Peskoff – drums and special guest Chen Levy – vocals.
